This is a modified 2005 Prius with a professionally installed PHEV (Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicle) performance kit from A123 Systems/Hymotion. It charges in 5 hours on a regular 120v house circuit. It runs just like a standard Prius with greatly improved gas mileage capability. The additional 5Kwh lithium-ion battery provides more "all electric" driving giving you the best of both worlds. The battery has two years left on the factory warranty, and 7 years projected life. If you can charge it every 35-50 miles you'll get over 100 mpg. On long trips you'll get over 400 miles and 48-50 mpg on a tank of regular gas. The "Scan Gauge" addition on the dashboard shows instant engine performance and fuel mileage. It has brand new Michelin MXV Primacy tires, new windshiled, new shocks and 4 wheel align @ 117k miles, custom aluminum "Drag" wheels, dark tinted windows, navigation system, cruise, bluetooth hands free phone link, voice commands, climate control, premium JBL stereo with mp3 adapter, universal garage door opener, four "Weatherguard" floor mats. The exterior and interior are clean and straight but have typical wear for a car of this age and mileage. Interior has no tears, stains, smoking, pets, kids. Exterior (7 of 10 points) has normal door dings and scratches, a softball sized dent from a garbage can, hood front edge pitted from sand. Exempt from emission testing. No tax credits available (I took them already). All scheduled service has been performed at Toyota dealers with records.
