Here we have a 1971 GMC Jimmy up for auction. This is a running ,and driveable truck, but I would consider it a project truck. The truck drives nice and runs OK, the engine smokes a little when first started, then clears up, seems to shift good. The biggest issue with it it the rust, it needs rocker, and torque box replacement, and has other smaller areas of rust also. Another hood , and front fenders come with, and they are in nice shape, with no rust. There is some rust at the quarter panels and rear floor area, which is typical for these trucks. This truck does look to be about 95% original and complete, with a upgraded interior trim package, has factory Air Conditioning. REAR seat shown in photos is already sold, and does not come with the truck. The tires are in excellent shape , as are the rallye wheels. The build sheet shows it has a Posi rear, with 3.07 ratio gears in the axles. Overall this is a decent hard to find truck of this type to restore, or gradually repair as its being used. It looks like orange was its original color, and it had one repaint.
