Vehicle Detail

This RX-7 is in fantastic original condition. No paint or body work has ever been done, always garaged, always babied, always loved.  Clear title, never been hit or damaged in any way. The interior is nearly flawless, upholstery is beautiful. Bolsters are strong, not squashed flat. Steering wheel, shift knob, and wiper/cruise control/turn signal stalks are perfect, they don't even show signs of use.  The car has both original tops, the body colored metal one and a tinted glass one. It also has a vinyl carrying case that holds the one you aren't using, and it can be strapped into the luggage compartment. Dealer installed louvers on the hatch are in perfect condition, no paint fade, peel, or rust.  Owner's manual and a HUGE stack of records are with the car.  All original keys are with the car.  Original floor mats. Cruise control works great. Air conditioning works great! Starts great, hot or cold, and holds perfect oil pressure hot or cold. I have driven it on hot days with the A/C on, absolutely zero overheating issues. Dashboard is perfect.  Original spare tire is in place and unused.  Comes with a LeBra for the nose.  Passes California emissions test no problem.  Engine oil, transmission oil, differential oil, coolant, and brake fluid all flushed within the last 1,500 miles.  The tires are brand new, I don't think I have put more than 150 miles on them.  I would like to point out that this is NOT a spit shined used-car-sales-lot special. This is a car that I really own, and have really put miles on. I have driven it and enjoyed it. The paint doesn't look shiny because I just polished it to within an inch of its life, that is just a fresh coat of wax on always-garaged original paint. The interior doesn't look great because its greased up with Armor All, its just really that nice. Even the door seals and window seals are still soft rubber!  This is a total time machine, a real "survivor" RX-7 that has been properly cared for. I would not hesitate to jump in this car and drive it across the country (in fact, I would love to do this if the buyer wants delivery). Remember, the 1985 is last, and best, year for the first generation RX-7, and the GSL trim adds 4-wheel disc brakes and a limited slip, so this is really the one to have, a true driver's car. I love this car, and I wish I could keep it as part of my collection, but I have too many toys. I feel lucky to have had the pleasure of owning it. Taking it for spirited mountain drives is not something I will soon forget. What a great car... Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the car, or if you would like to come out and drive the car. I have nothing to hide with this car, it really is as good as it sounds.
