I am selling the project truck I have wanted to build for years, however, my first child is on the way. So, I must regrettably sell one of my project vehicles and this one is it. 1972 Chevy C20 Longhorn with the original and running 402 Big Block. Has factory air conditioning with all components connected but not working. The compressor spins, but there is no belt and I have never tried to run it. I am the third owner and have the following from the original owner; Owner’s manual with detailed records, original registration slip from 1972, factory build sheet from Fremont, CA plant and service and warranty paper work. Truck was sold to Lowell Whitcomb of Escondido, CA by Dick Grihalia Chevrolet in El Cajon, CA on 7/15/1972. Transmission won’t go into gear and the brakes are spongy, so it will need to be trailered home. The lights, turn signals and fan in the cab work. Although truck has always been in CA, it has some rust in and around the drip rails. Driver door has a dent and the passenger front fender is dented, but I have a replacement for the fender. Truck has a tailgate, but it is from a GMC. Truck has aftermarket rims. Registration is paid until May of 2013. As I mentioned the truck runs, but does need a full restoration.
