Up for your consideration is a beautiful black 1960 Lincoln Premier 4-Door HardTop ! It is very clean, shiny and Presidential-looking ! It has a 430, 8-Cylinder, Automatic Motor and is all-original except for one repaint. The actual mileage is 59,781. I am selling this Lincoln for my brother-in-law, who purchased it in Minneapolis. It has not been driven in ten years; has been in storage most of its life until 2 years ago. It has a Clear Title, runs and drives, and has the original keys. In fact, the motor runs so quietly that you can hardly hear it ! The transmission works good. Mechanically, all it needs is some minor brake work. Regarding the body, I would say it is very solid...about 99% rust free (I did body work for 40 years). The roof has a minor dent from a tree which fell on it this spring during a terrible storm (see picture). It should be an easy fix. There is one strip of chrome trim on the trunk which has some pitting and could be rechromed. Otherwise, for perfection, only a couple of emblems need replacing. Also, the exterior of the car needs a good buffing, after sitting under a tree for the last year. The glass is all good and the tires are about 60%. The interior is very good for being original ! It could use new carpet and needs some repairs on the front seat upholstery and on the driver arm rest. The headliner has only a couple of small holes. Again, for being original and 62 years old, most components of this car are in terrific condition ! On the fun side, this Lincoln was one of the heavier cars ever made and has more head-room/leg-room than most others. You can have a family reunion in the back seat ! Because the brakes need some work, this car will need to be trailered. Pick-up is the responsibility of the buyer. A $500 Down-payment is required, via Paypal, within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The remainder of the purchase price is due via cash or cashiers check within 7 days of the end of the auction.
