Up for Auction is a 1987 Mercedes 300D Turbo Diesel in hard to find Black on Perfect Black Leather interior. It only has 179k miles which is low for a 25 year old car and especially low for the life expectancy of this Turbo Diesel engine. The car runs and drives excellent. It recently had the water pump replaced, there are no coolant leaks. The transmission has also been serviced recently with new fluid, filter and gasket. It shifts perfectly smooth. It has great acceleration for a Diesel. The turbo works great. It has the low maintenance Hydraulic valve head. The alignment was just done and the tires are all matched with more than 50% tread remaining. The heater blower motor was also just replaced and the heater works great, the A/C needs to be recharged. All power windows and sunroof work. Both passenger and drivers power seats work. The central power locks work. The black paint is still nice and shinny, there are some scratches, dings and chips that you would expect for a 25 year old car. The interior is in great shape.
