This is a just finished "fresh restoration" of a west coast Porsche 356b! Our goal is to come as close as we can to a "show car driver". One that will not only be admired and win lots of shows but a car that also can be enjoyed as a RELIABLE driver . The best of both worlds! We restored the car as our own, taking no shortcuts, sparing no expense. We have the inherit trait to address and fix everything just as if we were keeping the car for ourselves. This is probably a poor business plan but one that leads to an EXCELLENT "SHOWCAR" DRIVER!!! The bare metal media blasting revealed a very solid body that needed little if any repair. One of course does not know this without going to bare metal. We have lots of pictures that document this procedure. This car needs nothing but to be driven and enjoyed. On Nov-25-12 at 17:01:40 PST, seller added the following information: I am lifting the reserve, by all accounts this is a $45,000 car!!! A Classic with documentation and an INVESTMENT, no telling what this Classic will be worth in 5 years!I forgot to mention, we had professionally installed a new headliner, also, rear window has some scratches that might can be buffed out, , car comes with a California Car Cover, New owner's manual from 1962 (reproduction) I have a clear North Carolina title in my name. The N.C. title says in error that this is a 1963 Porsche 356b. I have the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity that states that this car is a 1962. I failed to make this change when I titled her but this is an easy correction that can be done when you title the car in your state.
