Vehicle Detail
Well I'm sure no expert on race cars, but I ended up getting this 1969 project car from a friend who could not finish it. (Heavy work schedule). The guy is a very talanted and competent car builder, and is a veteran racer. This is a hard car to describe, so I have taken some pictures and will list whats here. The car is a roller, and some of the rear section is just "tacked" together. I will describe it the best I can and as Honest as I can. This car was a factory v-8 4 speed car (just a plain- Jane coupe with disc brakes). This car has a clear and open Coloorado title. Competition engineering 2 x 3 x .120 wall back half rect. tubing. Competition engineering "Fab-9" rear end (44 1/2" flange to flange). new gear set with new spool installed (4.11 gears). new after market racing axles with new bearings and studs etc. New willwood rear disc. brakes, rotors and pads. New competition engineering adjustable ladder bars with track-locator. New aluminium fuel cell with fuel sender assembly. New competition engineering rear adjustable coil overs. Set up for 15-33-18 rear tires. Big aluminum radiator. New floor pan with seat mounts. Factory front disc brakes with all new ball joints, shocks, a-arm bushings, pads, rotors etc. 2 nice sets of hooker"competition series" Headers-one for small block one for big block. new " z-28 " rear deck lid with D zuz fasteners. (fiberglass). new carpet kit Brand new weld pro star aluminum racing wheels (all 5 x 4. 75...G.M.). New mickey Thompson 15x 33 x18 rear tires with tubes. This car still has its "clutch peddle assembly" in the car. There are boxes and boxes of parts including doors, bezels, tail light, glass, bumpers, 2 stock hoods, hardware, etc. etc. It's sure not perfect, but I can't imagine finding a better car for the price with all the goodies. The rear wheels were for another car and need a bigger offset, but could be tradded for the ones you need? This car is a serious project, and has had lots of time and money spent on it. You could roll the car on to a trailer, but you would completely fill up a pick up truck with all the accessories, and parts. The wheels and tires have never been on a car...They are un-used. Its a hard car to describe but someone will be real happy with it. Remember...no engine/transmission. It's a 43 year old car, and is being sold as is I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in anyway. I only want the buyer to be as excited as I was when it came my way. My opening bid is $5,500.00 with no reserve. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have, and I will do my best to respond thank you Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
