For sale is a very nice condition, well maintained 560 SL Roadster. Absolutely no rust or accidents. Starts, runs and drives perfectly. I planned on keeping this car so I just spent $1,600.00 on brand new rotors and brake pads , brand new 205/65R 15 tires, having the timing gear guides checked ( they are in excellant condition) synthetic oil /filter change and tune up. Unfortunately a sudden change in my economic situation forces a quick sale. Make me an offer!! You can fly in and drive home. Interior is in very good condition, no rips or tears. Removable hardtop is in good condition, has a few small dings along the chrome trim on the bottom of the top. The convertible top is black, has a small pin hole at the center and a small open seem on the passenger side, both easily repairable. The paint is a "10 footer". The prior owner said he tried to buff out the paint and ended up scratching the clear coat on the drivers side rear quarter and trunk. A small section of the clear coat on the front of the hood has peeled off ( about 6" x 2"). There is a small ding on the passenger rear quarter from a rake falling and hitting the car while it was garaged. A/C works but is not as cold as it should be, will probably need to be topped off. This is not a show car nor a perfect car, but if you are looking for a solid everyday driver that is mechanically sound and rust free for a third of the cost of a garage queen this is the car for you. The color coat is intact its the clear coat that was damaged. My understanding is this can be cleaned up and reshot at minimal cost. I tried to get a good picture of the ding on the right rear fender. Its very hard to see because its so small but if you look at the dark spot in the picture the "ding" is just above it. It is approximately 1" long and barely deep enough to show up in the picture.
