Up for auction is my BEAUTIFUL 1981 Jeep Cj5. This is a vehicle that pictures do not do justice. The millenium yellow (corvette yellow) paint looks wonderful and the all steel body is in excellent condition. This jeep features the beloved 4.2l straight 6 backed by a 4 speed trans. The motor has plenty of power and torque. Does not leak, no knocks or problems. The clutch is in great condition and needs nothing. The jeep has a 2 inch lift and rides on 33" tires that have about 90% tread left. This jeep has not been beaten or off roaded. For the past 14 years it has been a town cruiser and driven locally to car shows. The 4x4 functions as should with lock out hubs. According to the classic car insurance company, haggerty, the total value of this cj is just above $15,000!!! Im a huge cj fan, and have owned MANY many of them over the years, and to have one in this condition with an all steel body is very rare. The frame looks as good as the body also. This vehicle belongs with someone who truely wants a great clean historic cj, and not a beater or rust bucket. This is not a money pit, and the values on these are steady on the rise. I have a complete soft top with soft doors, and a bikini top as well included in the sale. The jeep does have a back seat and seat belts. I removed the michigan plate for photos and tossed on a texas plate i had in my garage (looks cool). This vehicle is not in nor from texas. It has been here in good ole michigan for quite some time.
