Vehicle Detail

This is a 1995 Chevy Caprice police package (9C1) car- it was orginally a Nevada state police car. It has the LT1 engine (5.7 L 260 HP & 330 ft-lbs). I don't know the exact mileage- the odometer display is inaccurate (it says the car has ~50k miles, which is not true). A GM scan tool could read the correct mileage from the ECM. I bought the car with 110k miles, and drove it for 10 years, so I estimate the mileage at about 250k. The car starts every time and runs great- mechanically it's in good condition. I replaced the front and rear brake pads about a month ago. About 2 years ago, I had the front end rebuilt- new ball joints, tie rods, center link and idler arm. When I bought the car, I installed a larger Hellwig front sway bar and an Eaton limited slip diff (it came with an open diff). I changed the oil regularly, and I have a pile of receipts for work I've had done to it over the years. The exhaust system will need to be replaced soon- the cats look fine but the pipes in and out of the mufflers are starting to rust through. The tires will also need to be replaced soon, they don't have a lot of tread left. The reason I'm selling it is because the body and interior are getting rough- there are dents and scrapes in the paint and the quarter panels behind the rear wheels are starting to rust. The plastic pieces in the interior are starting to crack. Disclaimer: this is a used car- it is not perfect. I have tried to describe it well, but you should come look at it before bidding. What I will say is that it is a good, solid car that just needs some maintenace and attention to detail. It is sold as-is, where-is with no warranties expressed or implied.
