Here is the story behind the car and why I am selling it. I moved from Germany to the US in September this year and always wanted a Mustang GT V8. I found this car at a local Dodge dealership and I was told that it had a lot of things done to it to make it a special car. It was converted to a short shifter transmission, has a Magnaflow performance exhaust system and a performance suspension and a modified differential. It has a Pioneer DVD/CD/Navigation system installed and a custom alarm system. The rear turn signals were modified so the 3 lights come on one after each other, same functionality as in the new Mustangs. There is wiring for a radar detector. The car has complete new brakes, incl. rotors and a set of new tires. The dealership went over the car completely and did a complete tune up as well. When I picked up the car from the dealership together with my wife and our little son on 09/26/2012 we were driving it on the freeway as the differential went out and we had to wait for a long time before the dealer sent a truck which picked up the Mustang and brought it back to the dealership. They had to replace the complete rear end of the car and spend approx. 3,000 $ for a new differential, incl. drive shaft. A gasket blew out, all the oil drained and this is why it failed. After that experience and due to the fact that it is a loud car, my wife decided that I had to sell it, as she will not ride in it anymore. I paid 8,500 $ for the car. I have all receipts and paperwork of what has been done to it. It runs great, is very fast, corners extremely well and is fun to drive. My reserve is 6,000 $. There are a couple of things that need to be taken care of. The cruise control does not work, the traction control does not work (but I was told that this was due to the modified rear end), and the passenger door locks, but does not unlock. There is some rock chips mainly on the hood of the car which I would have re-painted. Please ask me for any questions you might have. I put approx. 400 miles on the car ever since I have owned it.
