Here is my 1972 Mercedes 350 SL. The 350 SL was renamed the 450SL after Its introduction in 1972. After 1972 they were known as 450SL. The vehicle was purchase at a police auction. It is being sold with only the paperwork recieved from the Sheriff's Departmnt. There is no Title. I had it running very well, 6 months ago and parked it in my barn. Now comes the sad part. I had recently started to get the car ready to put on the road. It will not run unless I spray fuel directly into the intake. I have made the decision to use what little energy I have on other projects. The hard top and body panels for the most part are very solid. I have the hubcaps and chrome trim piece for the door. . I also have the complete factory workshop manual . I hate the idea of the car going for parts. I have included pictures of the underside and as you can see it is very clean and rust free. In either case this is a no reserve auction. Deposit of $250 will be due within 24 hours of end of auction. I will help with any transports arrangements as best I can. Again, the only paperwork showing ownership is what was recieved from the Sheriff's department. On Nov-11-12 at 05:29:33 PST, seller added the following information: I keep getting individuals bidding on my Mercedes and driving the bid up. I suspect these are scammers. In either case they list their location as Germany. I will contact EBay about this and will remove them. Please do not bid unless you reside in USA or Canada. Thanks.
