1965 Chevrolet Impala , 53,000 original miles , 283 small block , 2 speed power glide , 10 bolt rear, all numbers matching protecto plate. Original white paint , no body work done , solid quarter , rocker panels all around, straight body garage kept, trunk has minor cosmetic rust inside and wheel wells are totally solid. Minor rust in trunk molding channel, around rear window corners and bottom front of doors is no big deal for a body guy. On the chassis you can see the clean metal in the pics where the original undercoating has come off. I’m a mechanic not a body guy otherwise this car would be done. Interior and dash pad has been redone and headliner is original like new. New coil springs and shocks all around with rear spacers made from a special steel. Radiator is clean like new, you can see in pics. Dent in right rear bumper but I have new old stock replacement that you can see in the in the trunk. I would give it a paint job but I think that's a decision better left to her new owner. Only changes to the car are duel exhaust , crager rims and rear anti sway bar for excellent handling . I have the original rims. All fluids even power steering have been renewed and car is running perfectly. This car is a perfect candidate for an easy frame of restoration or it can be an enjoyable daily driver. The reason I’m selling is that I found a 409 engine with a 700r4 trans and I couldn’t bring myself to rip the original engine out of this beauty so I’m selling it to buy more of a project car 1965 Impala. I will consider a trade deal also.
