Vehicle Detail
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING. THE VEHICLE IS SOLD "AS IS" AND THERE IS NO WARRANTY IMPLIED. THE VEHICLE IS DESCRIBED AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE. IF YOU HAVE ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS, PLEASE ASK. You are bidding on a 2002 Ford Explorer. I am selling the vehicle for my parents, who are the one and only owners of this vehicle. The vehicie recently developed a problem when they were driving. The engine started running rough and they happened to be in front of a repair shop. The mechanic looked at the vehicle and told them, and later me, the engine was only running on 3 cylinders. We decided not to fix the vehicle and sell it like it is. The vehicle was well maintained with regular oil changes, brakes etc., the transmission is original and everything works as it should. The ABS light is on and the check engine light is on as you can see in the pictures. The tires are good and the body is in good shape with no rust that I can see. The inside is in good condition and there are no rips or tears or cracks in the interior. The vehicle shifts smooth and the 4WD works as it should. All the lights work. The vehicle has never been in an accident that I know of, though my father did some minor body work on the rear--it's not really noticeable, but it is there. No animals have been in the vehicle and until this time, the vehicle had never broken down. It has been a good vehicle, but it is time to get something that is a little more depenable for those long trips. Basically, this is a great vehicle if it ran properly. It may be a simple fix-coil pack or something like that. However, I have a no idea and a new vehicle is on the way. You are welcome to come inspect the vehicle at any time. The vehicle does run and is driveable. I drove it up onto a trailer and towed it home and drove if off the trailer. Since I did not know what exactly was wrong I did not want to drive the vehicle any more than necessary. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION
