I used this car over the summer.I took it upstate in New York several times.But there isn't any more time for me to drive it, so it's time to sell. STRONG ENGINEStarts first try every time.Recently tuned up - all fluids flushed and changed. **************THE GOOD************** ****ONLY 150k mi****New DifferentialNew AlternatorNew BatteryNew BeltsNew TiresFULL-SIZED SPARE (Also, the trunk has 3 boxes full of parts, etc.)These cars run easily to 500k with proper maintenance. *************THE BAD*************-PASSENGER DOOR needs to be shut very hard-MISSING carpet rear left side-can't LOCK/UNLOCK from the inside-A/C DOESN'T WORK (at least, I doubt it very seriously)-CHIPPED PAINT - no structural rust-MISSING a knob or two here and there (nothing major)-INTERIOR LIGHTS don't come one - almost positive it's a fuse, though I haven't checked (Mostly just things to expect from a car from 1978) *******************TRANSMISSION*******************When switching from 1st to 2nd gear it jerks,it revs a little high in 1st gear before switching to 2nd. But from there it's smooth sailing. Also, after it runs a while it's much smoother.(I drive it every day and it doesn't seem to be a huge deal) Please email with any questions or if you're interested in seeing the car.
