1969 CHEVROLET CONVERTIBLE 350/350 - HP 4 SPEED FRAME OFF RESTORATION - MATCHING NUMBERS BLACK INTERIOR - POWER STEERING CORRECT CODE - MONZA RED 1 This car had a complete frame off restoration with every nut and bolt replaced in 2005. It has been driven very little and the undercarriage looks as good as the car. I will tell about the history as we go through the pictures. This is a no disappointment car with fantastic paint. It was restored by a professional restoration shop for a guy that was the son of a former owner of a Chevrolet dealership. All the bushing, body mounts, springs & shocks were replaced and everything that goes with a frame off. 2 I changed the tires because of the age so they would be safe for the new owner. It drives straight and performs great with 350/ 350 hp 4 speed. This is a super nice car in every way. 3 The trim rings and caps look great and all of the stainless is very nice. I just added the new side louvers because they were missing. I placed eighty high definition big photos so you see all areas, so please be patient they are worth the wait if you are looking for a super nice Corvette to keep as an investment grade car. 4 5 I will have to say it looks great with the new B F Goodrich radials. 6 7 The paint is great and really looks better than the pictures. I take my pictures in natural light with full sun, partial clouds and in shaded areas. I also use flourescent lighting so you can see the car in all light scenarios. My pictures are just as they come out of the camera and not ran through a photo enhancing program to make them look better than they really are. What you see is what you get just a super nice Corvette with matching numbers and not altered. It has been changed over to a holley and has a composite rear spring update and a after market cd radio. The car is completely all original except for three updates. 8 This car really has curb appeal. All of the chrome is great with no sign of pitting or discoloration. 9 I am a retired farmer and still live on the farm. I buy and sell a few cars a year and I do have a dealer's license. The fiber optics even work with the lights just as they should. 11 THE PAINT IS NOT CHIPPED UP DOWN LOW. 12 The hard top in the back ground goes with the black car. 13 All tail lights and chrome were replaced. 14 15 16 The top latches work properly and does not pop out when you hit a bump in the road. 17 ALL THE GLASS IS GOOD AND THE REAR PLASTIC IS GOOD AND CLEAR. 18 19 20 I have added the chrome that covers the plug wires but I took these pictures before I received them. 21 This matching numbers motor and transmission has less than 1250 miles since being completely and professionally rebuilt. It runs strong and shifts perfect with the original shift handle being welded to the hurst linkage to look original. 22 Please be patient, interior is coming after the motor and trans numbers. 23 The vin 19S731958 SAME AS A PILLAR POST THE VIOOIHW= FLINT SMALL BLOCK OCT I 350 HORSE SPECIAL CAM WITH QUADRAJET 24 O09= OCTOBER 9TH 1969 1969 CORVETTES WERE MADE UP IN DECEMBER BECAUSE OF THE GM STRIKE the 974 and zq4 = monza red and black interior` 25 The block casting # 3970010 appeared mid July and the block casting date I 27 9 = September 27,1969 26 3925660 PART NUMBER ON TRANS 27 BELLHOUSING PART # 28 THE VIN # MATCHES 29 Tail shaft part number. 30 I have the address and phone number of the person in the Orlando, Fla area it was purchased from in 1994. The frame restoration started in 2004 and was completed in 2006. I have the paper trail of $7,500 for the car and 11k for ST Corvettes and thousands more for parts alone. The son of a Chevrolet Dealer back in the day had the car professionally restored to perfection. I am selling the car based on the history that I received from the former owner. It is as close to new now as you will find. It has been driven very little and the paint is fabulous. I have sold some really nice Corvettes and this one is in the top 5%. 33 34 35 36 The cross flag emblem in the front is missing some paint. 37 The pictures do not do the car justice. It has fantastic paint. 38 This car looks great inside. All the trim is correct and all the black is rich and shiny with all the gauges and glass is clear as it should be. Everything work inside except tach. All gauges and even the clock. The speedometer and all the turn signals and the fiber optics work. 39 40 The car has a pioneer CD player and speakers with a remote. The carpet looks good too. 41 The 4 speed shifts good and the linkage is good and tight. 42 43 These are the orginal instruction decals and the jack is in its proper place lug wrench is in place too. 44 45 46 All seal plates look great and the door jams are nice and clean looking . No over spray and all new weatherstripping. Both doors open and shut with ease just as they should. 47 They put black tape on the paint to keep the door guides from damaging. 48 49 I should have cleaned this before I took this picture. 51 52 53 The black 70 model is for sale also. 54 All the body lines are very smooth and the lines are clean and neet with proper fit. 55 This car has a great sound it is not to loud but has that thrusty sound to let you know it has good power. 56 Please notice there are very few chips down low on this car. This goes for both sides of the car and the front and rear as well. 57 58 59 60 61 62 63 64 65 66 67 68 69 The top door open and shuts properly and all latches work with no problems. The top folds out and in just as it should with ease. 70 71 72 This one piece composite spring is two times as expensive as the leaf sprig. 73 74 THIS WAS A FRAME OFF RESTORATION AND IT SHOWS VERY WELL. I TOOK THE PICTURES BEFORE I REPLACED THE TIRE with new BF Gs. 75 76 77 BRAKES AND ALL BRAKELINES ARE NEW AND IT SHOWS EVERYTHING IN THE UNDERCARRIAGE WAS REPLACED OR REBUILT. ALOT OF MONEY WAS SPENT AND THE FRAME WAS RUST FREE TO START WITH. 78 YOU CAN TELL FROM THE EXHAUST AND OTHER DRIVE TRAIN PARTS THIS CAR WAS DRIVEN VERY LITTLE. 79 80 Terms of Sale The buyer will submit a $2,000 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit within 48 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Deposit will be made through Paypal. No sort of checks will be accepted for this deposit. An additional fee of $300 will be required of a buyer outside the United States. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance within 7 days of the end of the auction. Balance and the fee, if applicable, will be paid by bank wire transfer.
