Vehicle Detail
1981 Goldwing 1100 Interstate 61k miles- barely broken in by Goldwing standards. -Full fairing, bags, extra lights. -Bags are all lockable, with top box being removable too. -Newer Diehard battery. -Front brake reservoir is new. -Original seat was replaced with new Travelcade seat which is much more comfortable than original. -Timing belt and plugs were changed around 57k I believe. Included -Markland backrest which fit the stock seat but not the new one. It could probably be sold pretty easily to someone with a stock seat. -Extra set of mirrors. -A couple extra oil filters -Used Large helmet with 2 shields, -Used Nelson Rigg heavy duty rain cover -Set of PIAA 912 fog lights. -Genuine Honda manual is also included -Goodyear Racing 1500lb MC/ATV lift Bike ran strong before sitting for several years after I got a second bike. It has been started regularly during that time and was stored inside with fuel stabilizer. It has several problems that make it unrideable at the moment, but most parts to fix it are included. I just don’t have the time or desire to work on it right now. As far as I know this is what should be done to make it rideable. -Brake calipers need to be rebuilt- rebuild kits are included or you could buy used ones off ebay or someplace -Front fork seals need replaced- seals are included -Tires are worn- new Bridgestone Spitfire S11 tires are included -Will need a tune up. It starts fine but needs to warm up before it will rev freely. Carbs should probably be cleaned up and synced -Bags have never leaked on me but the gaskets around the top are loose and could be replaced. Otherwise its mostly just an annoyance when closing them. -Has factory Honda/Clarion stereo w/speakers. Radio works but up/down tuning buttons don't always work. I'm not sure if this is fixable or not. I never used it so didn't bother looking into it. Also has intercom switch but I have no idea if that works or where you would even hook into it. Was a fun bike when I was riding it. It always seemed to get 40mpg no matter how easy or hard you ran it. This bike will require a little work to make it rideable but its in good condition for being 30+ yrs old. Other than that stuff I listed above I don't know of any other problems but bike is sold AS IS. I'm happy to answer questions about anything I've left out as best I can. I have no way to transport so buyer is responsible for pickup or to arrange shipping on their own. This is a No Reserve auction. I just need to get it out of my garage. A couple lights in the pictures are not working because bulbs were burned out or fuses were removed for easier starting when I had an older battery in it. False tank, side covers, lower fairing pieces, and chrome carb cover pieces are removed in the pictures but are included.
