Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a nice old Power Wagon. This has been an on going project for me but have another project( 46 Power Wagon) waiting so need to sell this one. Here are some of the things I have done. Total overhaul of the engine(T137). This includes completely dissembled and hot tanked, the head has been plained, block has been bored 60 over, crank has been turned 20-20, all new valve seats, guides, four new exhaust valves, one new intake valve, new rod, main, and cam bearings. All machine work was done by my local NAPA store that has two of the best (old) machinists in the state of WA. The clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing had been replaced before I bought the truck. They are like new. I just went through the brakes, replaced one rear wheel cylinder with a new and rebuilt the other three, also installed new master cylinder(NOS). The brake shoes and drums are like new. Replaced both U-joints on rear drive shaft. Transmission shifts good and the front and rear differentials are nice and tight with no oil leaks. Transfer case seems to be in good condition. The power take off and wench work good. All gauges, lights, and heater (defrosters)work as they should. The 57 cab was so rough that I couldn't fix it so I replaced it with a rust free 1946 truck cab which was in excellent condition. Everything except the bed has been completely striped to bare metal, inside and out. All dents removed, primered and new OD paint. The bed has a metal floor instead of wood and has a spray in bed liner and turned out very good. The tires are 75-85% on the rear and 60-70% on the front with weather check(front only) and the spare will get you to town. The cab has all new glass, headliner, rubber kit and reupholstered seat. It runs and drives real good and I am proud of the way it turned out. Any questions , please ask.
