1952 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe. This car runs and drives we use it daily to run around town and get parts or lunch just cruising it around. Its a 4 door Styleline Sedan 47,500 miles 6 volt electrical system, starts every time strong runner, like new coker wide white walls on original dog dish hubcaps and wheels, upholstery is in very good shape appears to be original, head liner is original, dash paint is faded, all the gauges look good and work, correct radio delete, Interior and exterior chrome is as expected for a car of its age some will have to be re chromed. Rebuilt the entire brake system, new carburetor kit, new points, plugs, and installed a top oiler to silence the lifters, disconnected the plumbing to the low pressure oil filter and installed a correct heavy gauge battery cable to the starter. It has a period correct whip antenna, 50's gumball light on top that is functional it is wired to operate off of a 12v cordless drill battery with the switch wire into the switches on the motorola radio, The motorola police radio is period correct but is INOPERABLE on police bands. The spot lights are 12v and work when activated with a power probe but are not wired in. I was going to convert the entire car to a 12v system never got around to it. The car is a dependable driver and visually a solid 10 footer the car was painted to look like a police car but it is not originally a police car. The clear coat ran in a couple of places but has never been wet sanded to remove the runs they are hard to see. The paint is a few years old but like I said it looks great even from up close but the chrome pieces will need some attention. The windshield and small corner windows are having a delamination problem and the driver window is cracked and will need to be replaced the rest of the glass is good. It is a solid fun to drive cruiser that gets alot of attention from everybody who see's it going down the road. It is a 99% complete car that needs no major modifications making it appropriate for a total restoration if desired. There is some bondo in it because there were a couple of small dents that were repaired before being painted the only rust I can find is in the trunk area a small hole nothing major in the pictures there is something peeling off of the fender wells in the trunk but that is not rust or paint it is some kind of sealer that some one else put on. Also I removed all of the weather stripping as it was all bad and rotten so all the weather stripping will need to be installed. The car is stored inside of the garage so rain and weather were never a problem.
