Up for auction is a 1969 VW Bus Westfalia camper. This camper has been stored in a barn for the last 15 years. As you can see in the pics, this is a very straight, solid, complete bus. This has always been a southern bus and is structurally very sound. The best and worst of it can be seen in the pics. This bus has 15 years of barn dirt on it, but, its easy to see that cleaning it alone would bring it a long way. This bus does not run, and mechanically I cant tell you much more than the fact that I was able to turn the engine over by hand. Other than that, it will need the obvious- brake work, tires, etc. If youre mechanically inclined, or just looking for a camper to put back on the road, this would be a great investment. Is this a rust bucket? NO- the only area that I have found with perforation is in the drivers floor. The wheel wells, floors, jack points, etc etc are very solid. Its easy to see that this one hasnt seen salty roads. Please keep in mind that this bus is being sold AS-IS, with no warranty expressed or implied. Obviously this vehicle will have to be towed from my location. Shipping the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer, but, I am more than willing to help with shipping arrangements. I require a $500 deposit to be paid via paypal within 24 hrs of auction end- NO EXCEPTIONS. It is being sold with a GA bill of sale ONLY.
