2002 Chevy Prizm (Toyota Corolla twin) with only 86,500 miles. Black metallic original paint is still glossy! No accident history, and clear title with actual mileage certification. No body damage other than minor dings, scratches, bumper scuffs, etc. This looks really good especially considering it is 11 years old! No engine overheating, smoking, or fluid leaving puddles under the car. Automatic transmission shifts great. Car accelerates and shifts without hesitation. Ice cold air that was just freshly charged. It will freeze you out! Heat is fantastic too! Power locks, power steering/brakes, cruise, rear-defog, factory am/fm/cd stereo. All work like they should. (no power windows option). This car is very dependable, and is ready to drive anywhere. You can fly into Fort Myers, and I will pick you up. Drive it to California or wherever you are going. We bought this car last year, as we needed a temporary car until we got we got our new car delivered. After that, the Prizm has just sat for 6 months or so. We just do not need it now, and it is taking up space! Since we decided to sell it, we did get some maintenance done and made sure the car was safe for the new owner! I just drove this on a 300 mile trip to help clean the fuel system and it drove like new!! Does not burn any oil! New tires (70,000 mile warranty), air evacuated and recharged, fresh coolant and oil, tune up, etc. Good: Runs beautifully down the road. Plenty of power with no hesitation. Very dependable. Body looks great and each body part has the v.i.n. on it, showing all parts are original! With this one, you do not have to worry about what a re-paint was covering. Original paint looks good. Very top of car starting to get a little light on the clear coat, but this is barely noticeable, and is only a couple of smaller spots. All power options work. All lights work. Glass is not damaged. Interior smells good and original carpet looks very good. Dash has no cracks. 86,500 actual miles with documentation! Great gas mileage. Car has been in Florida since 2004! Open up all the doors, hood, trunk lid, etc., and there will be no rust in the jamb areas. In fact, they all look like new! Clean and clear Auto Check showing no accidents, no evidence of odometer tampering, and a very high score! Going down the road at 30 or at expressway speeds, the car runs and rides very, very well. The car accelerates very nicely. Another good thing is that parts are abundant for these cars, since they shared most everything with the Corolla. Bad: 1. Inside of trunk where spare tire sits got water in it from sitting. Rust inside the well area only where the tire sits in. This area is notorious for water and moisture accumulating. An area about the size of a golf ball rusted through this well, but I repaired it from outside. (this is underneath car) Everything else inside of trunk including corner wells look like new. Also a tiny bit of rust under car by rear left quarter, about 3 inches long and 1/2" wide. This is very minor, and can't be seen, as it is under car. It is right at where the metal is folded, and this tiny piece is not even needed. No other rust anywhere on car other than surface rust underneath car like all cars have. 2. Headliner has a few minor tears (dime size) 3. Original elderly owners smoked. There are a few small burn marks on the driver's and rear passenger seats. This is the only evidence of a past smoker. No smell, no other burns, etc. 4. Emissions light periodically comes on, but then goes off. It never seems to stay on long enough to see what it is. Whatever it is, it has to be very minor. Mechanic checked all of emissions and said everything was working like it should. Said car just needs to be driven some since it sat for awhile. Past code said it was the m.a.f. sensor, so Toyota replaced that with a new one. Please keep in mind that this car is 11 years old. I can't possibly cover every little thing, even though I have tried. It is not a new car, and it is certainly not selling for anywhere near new! I am sure there will be a few little things here and there, just like any car. The main thing is that this car is not a piece of junk, and it runs fantastic. It also looks very, very nice. This is a car that you do not need to sink a bunch of money into. The things I mentioned are very minor, and can be fixed cheaply, or not fixed at all. I would encourage any and all bidders to come and look at the car and drive it. Make sure you are willing to follow through with the sale. With this one, you do not have to worry about new paint hiding everything. Nothing to hide on this car. We just do not drive it, and are tired of having it take up a space sitting around. This will make an excellent first or second car, and will not break the bank!!! See what else is out there for this kind of money. This is a great little car for around $3500 or less.
