This is my 56 Belair I purchased five years ago one year off a body off restoration. I have put about 2000 miles on it and it has held up very well. The paint is Matador red and Indiana ivory base clear. The paint has minor chips from use and I have tried to show them in the pictures, overall the paint is in very good cond. All body panels are original with the exception of rear tailpan, drivers side floor and a 4by 4 patch above the gas tank. Hood bird has been removed as well as emblems. Stainless is highly polished and in very good cond,most chrome is new, I think there are two or three pieces still origianl to the car. All glass and glass moldings are new as well as all felt, rubber,door, trunk seals and grommets . The engine is new this year, it is a 383 stroker four bolt with vortec heads GM performance roller cam Edelbrock intake with three small bore Rochester carbs. Highly detailed under the hood with lots of chrome and billet ,Vintage air ,power steering Delphi 670 box ( not the sloppy 605 ) four wheel disc power brakes and aluminum rad. Transmission is a muncie wide ratio completely rebuilt by Hoses Gear Shop, hurst shifter with reverse lockout T handle. The rear is a ford 8.8 with 373 gears trac lok posi and 31 spline axles. The front suspension has 2 inch drop spindels one inch drop springs and a cpp anti-sway bar. All ball joints tie rods ends idler arm and pitman arm are new.As are brake fuel lines and tank. The exhaust is two and a half inch stainless steel with x pipes and turbo mufflers. Interior is custom and in like new cond ,,power windows antenna and custom gauges. I am sure I left out a lot so if you have any question please call or come down an inspect the car before bidding. One more note the wipers don't work any more don't know why and the heater parts are all there and new but not hooked up for esthetic reasons, however I will run the hoses if this is a condition for purchase Thanks 724-413-5445 Chet
