Hey all you Mustang enthusiasts. This is a 2001 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible with 69,000 miles on it. It had two previous owners, and has a clean Carfax report. This is an unmodified example, paint and body are in overall good shape, rear bumper cover needs to be resprayed, slight crease in passenger door (PDR). Chrome rims are all in good shape, with good tires. Interior is a strong 7 on a scale from 1-10 ,convertible top is an 8 on scale 1-10. Car is dry underneath.
Now for the mechanical issues, the engine has a rod knock. Need new short block, so worse case scenario this vehicle can be running and finished for less than $12,000. Replacement block runs between $4000-$5000. This is good project vehicle.
