NO RESERVE, HIGH BIDDER GETS IT!! International C1200 4x4 IH pickup truck here! Great classic vintage with rare options: Hello, and thank you for viewing my ad here for the 1965 International Harvester 4x4 that I have for sale. PLEASE read the entire ad here before bidding or asking any questions, I try to be very thorough in my descriptions and it is very important to me to keep buyers happy! Also, if you do decide to bid on/ purchase this truck, you agree to comply to the terms stated in this ad. Due to an abundance of zero feedback buyers who bid on my auctions and then do not follow through, if you have zero feedback contact me BEFORE BIDDING, or I will have to remove your bid and cancel you from bidding in the future. If you are the lucky winner of this auction, I do require a $500 deposit at the conclusion of the auction and the balance must be paid within 5 days by any conventional method other than Paypal: Cash in person, check, bank transfer, etc. In addition, I have this car for sale locally as well and reserve the right to end this auction at any time. If you are serious about buying this, I would suggest you ‘Buy It Now’ and not wait to bid at the end of the auction, or it will probably disappear from the site. Finally, if you are able to come inspect the truck in person, PLEASE DO SO. I do not want to in any way mis-interpret or over-sell the vehicle. It is best if you take a look for yourself to get a ‘feel’ for the truck. I have taken a lot of pictures, but I understand with a vehicle of this vintage you could never have ‘too many pictures’ so please, if you would like to see anything else, or close-ups of anything in particular, please message me and let me know where to send the pictures and what you would like to see. Alright, now onto the truck! : I have not owned this truck for a very long time. It was for sale locally at an auction, and I had seen it before and really wanted it. SO, impulsively, I won the auction and had it towed home. Since in my possession, I have put in good batteries and with a jumper wire to the coil and some more gas in the tank, it fired right up! Engine sounds great and runs very well - Tons of power. Transmission shifts well in all 4 forward gears as well as reverse. Transfer case (Divorced style) shifts well and works as it should. TRUCK HAS A PTO AND FRONT PTO-POWERED WINCH! This also works great and is a valuable and rare bit all by itself! THIS TRUCK NEEDS A NEW WATER PUMP THOUGH. The fan is wobbling a bit, and when you put water in the truck it will leak out out the water pump shaft. I do not have the time to deal with this now, and am actually selling off my collection of cool old cars for a trip to England next month to import some diesel Land Rover Defenders and extra engines! SO – Everything must go, and I need everything to go soon. THE BODY ON THIS TRUCK is surprisingly straight and rust free. I have taken many pictures of the underside and floors and corners, please look at my pictures. Paint is faded, but I think it would shine up. There have been a couple holes drilled in the roof for a box mounted there (and CB antennas?) . There are two gas tanks. There are extra tool boxes in the rear truck body and in the front bumper. There is no rust on the frame. There is very little rust anyplace, but there are some small bubbles in a rear corner of the truck bed. Doors are sagging a bit on their hinges. CAMPER is more or less gutted in the back. INTERIOR/ ELECTRICAL : A lot of wires are hanging under the dash. There is an auxiliary battery hooked up, and a lot of extra switches. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY DO. I think the truck will need a bit of wiring to be up to snuff and have all the lights/ etc work. These old electrical systems are pretty simple though. I have to put a jumper wire to the coil to start the truck. I assume everything will work on it, but you need to do some wiring. I do not know what else to tell you, I have not owned this long, and have not driven it much but to check the brakes and engine/ transmission. Brakes DO work well! Tires in front are brilliant, rears are getting thin. You can not drive this home anyway, as the water pump is bad! I have all the paperwork to get the title filled out by the previous owner. In Oregon, this is as good as a title, you can call DMV on that one. If you want me to obtain the actual title for you, it will take 30 days from the time I file the paperwork. Please call with any questions. Truck is sold as-is, where-is with no guarantees. This is a cool, rare old 4x4 IH C1200 ! Odometer shows 26,350 miles, I assume this to be 126 or even 226,000 miles. Truck does start right up and sounds GREAT. Has a lot of power. Moves under its own power and clutch feels good and does not slip. Needs a water pump. Needs wiring done. Body is good and straight and frame looks perfect. Great opportunity to own a tough-looking early American 4x4 with a powerful V8 engine! Please email or call with any questions. Truck will have to be collected at buyers expense from my location here in Portland, Oregon 97203. Let me know what else I can tell you… Thanks for looking and bid early and often. On Oct-29-12 at 09:24:21 PDT, seller added the following information:**** I checked the engine block this morning and found a number stamped on a casting to the left of the fuel pump, the number started with '345E9...' , so I assume this is a 345 V8 engine. Also the Power Take Off PTO is driven from the transfer case, not the transmission (to answer some of your questions) - Thank you and let me know what else I can tell you. *****On Oct-29-12 at 09:24:34 PDT, seller added the following information:**** I checked the engine block this morning and found a number stamped on a casting to the left of the fuel pump, the number started with '345E9...' , so I assume this is a 345 V8 engine.
