Honda CBX 1000 Six Cylinder Beautiful Condition Candy Glory Red Example First year brought into the USA, most powerful version of all four years. This motorcycle has been carefully recommissioned for use. Tires, brakes, carburettors and engine have all been checked out and are verified good. Brakes overhauled and fresh brake fluid put in. Bike runs 100%, idles perfect and has no issues. Can be ridden anywhere. Charging system works properly, new battery, etc. This bike is mostly original, but has a different seat cover (sargeant) from stock, also has Koni rear shocks. Otherwise a clean, stock bike. Very clean condition, detailed very well and could be entered into local motorcycle shows and do well. Front header pipes were starting to corrode, so were painted black but the system is the correct exhaust for the year. A picture is worth 1000 words to please check these pictures out. Note that the back of the exhaust have end caps made because of a previous owner drilling holes in the pipes. Paintwork is excellent on this bike, and the engine detail is magnificent. The quality and finish of this bike is excellent, and IF you wanted to make this a stock concours bike, the only things you would need are a new stock Sankei exhaust (available from sixcenter.com for $1700) a replacement seat cover and maybe re-do the gauges... Even though they're not faded more than usual. The rest of the bike is finished and of course key in this example is that it truly runs great and is ready for use. Don't let this nice example get away!
