With a no reserve auction sold to high bidder. So folks, you are bidding what it's worth to you and I have no idea what that may be but I am sure you do. We will do our very best to describe this california suburban as accurate as we can and I will be telling and showing you as much as I can with the description and pictures. Ok, here we go. 1985 GMC Sierra Classic 2500 3/4 ton 4x4 with the true 8 lug rears, 350 motor and 3 speed automatic transmission, 4 wheel drive, high and low transfer case with automatic locking hubs. The interior has cloth front captain seats with center console rear seats lay down and 3rd seat is removable, dual air condition, power windows power door locks,tilt wheel, cruise control pioneer am fm cd player has full factory gauges. The suburban has a 4 inch rancho suspension lift to provide clearance for the Lt-285-75-16 dueler a/t on chrome rims, also class 3 tow hitch. Listen folks, The miles on the odometer reads as 101,312, and this may vary by a few miles depending on bidders coming to test drive. And yes folks we encourage you to come and do just that. This is a great suburban brought in from california and with a no reserve auction, We're letting the price up to you. HERE IS WHAT WE KNOW: Interior Condition: This california suburban has very nice cloth interior with front captain seats and center console along with folding down back seats and removable 3rd seat which we found no real flaws to mention. Carpet is in nice condition. On the interior you might find just light wear and possible stains, the carpet on the inside of the tailgate looks to have come unglued over the years (some wrinkles). Headliner looks good, Dash has full set of factory gauges which appear to work properly, dash pad has slight crack. Door panels are missing a few trim pieces around pull straps and paint on some of them are pealing and drivers padded door arm rest is cracked and worn. Power windows work except for left rear and drivers side switch will not operate passenger side window, A/C is cool and compressor works fine but will need recharged it kicks in and out. horn button on dash, Cruise control lever is cracked and taped so it does not allow cruise to work (should replace switch), Overall this is a nice interior. (folks we work hard on these ads and try to miss nothing). Exterior Condition: The paint has nice shine and shows some wear, you may find minor fading and some scratches or stone chips and paint blistering at few areas, on tailgate, around right side rear window seal and top roof at rear and around mirror bolt holes also show some stress cracks at bolts. As for the body dings we found only a few (very minor) top left front fender and right rear beside fuel door and around mirror bolt holes. Tail gate is very good condition around hinge area and the complete tailgate is just really nice as pictured. We found no rust holes or repaired rust on this GMC. The doors and rockers are so nice and original they are the best we have ever seen for not being replaced or restored. This suburban has great front inner wells with just minor surface rust starting at the triangle support. Folks we have tried to get you all the pictures of these areas so look close to see what we look to try to tell you. Seriously folks, for 27 years old it looks pretty nice. As for the floors, frame and mounts this suburban is the very best that we have ever seen for being original,Most people would consider this rust free and it sure is close. And folks we put it on our lift for you to see just how super solid it really is. Again the best one we have ever seen. (We cant keep from saying that)Hope these pictures help you all. Driveline Condition: This suburban has factory 350 motor,with 4 barrel carb which while we drove it, it holds good oil pressure and sounds very good, no odd noises or smoke noticed, we noticed that all emmissions and smog eguipment seems to be on from factory and original and non molested,exception of catalytic has been replaced with open pipe, exhaust looks ok but there is a slight exhaust leak souds like a possible donut gasket very slight, 3 speed hydramatic transmission shifts well and is very strong and works great. Axles are 8lug 3/4 ton heavy duty with 4.10 gearing, along with the 4 wheel drive it works well and has high and low range transfer case which shifts smooth. 40 gallon fuel tank, As for the tires they are LT285x75x16 dueler A/T tires with about 5/32 or 40 percent tread left and are mounted on 8 lug chrome wheels which have small amount of pitting. We were told over the past few years this suburban got driven almost not at all and was kept in a local storage since driven here from california. As for driving the only thing we found was that you get a slight hesitation or dead spot when heavy acceleration acts as if it starves for fuel and seems like accelerator pump in carb, may need to be replaced some time in near future along with all fuel filters and any normal preventive maintence recommended after getting home. We still see no reason why winning bidder should have any problem driving home. You really will love how it looks and how it drives.
