Vehicle Detail
We are proud to offer this very rare and extremely nice example of a 1969 Chevrolet CST/20 3/4 ton, long bed, fleetside truck ... This truck is in extremely nice condition inside and out, has always been well serviced and is very well optioned (see description below for a list of all options). It is rust free, has just been fully serviced and drives extremely well. Prices for these trucks can range from $1500 for parts cars to $30,000 for show restored examples, I think I have mine priced very fairly for the condition and the amount of recent service & maintenance. This is a turn key truck as it sits, or something that you can work on over the winter and take to the next level. As it sits though it's tough to find a driven pre-owned late 60's truck that is this well cared for & clean. Additional Details: (VIN: CE249F815682), black with black & tan vinyl interior, auto trans with 4-bolt main, 89,900 original miles, 350 V8, 2 wheel-drive, 127" wheelbase with an 8 foot bed & 7,000 GVW, option sticker shows: tinted glass, body side mouldings, door edge guards, silver heavy duty rear bumper, power steering, heavy duty front & rear suspension & shock absorbers, auxiliary springs, brake booster equipped, turbo hydra-matic trans., 8-bolt wheel lugs, chrome hubcaps, ammeter & oil gauge, non-glare mirror, push-button radio, recent service / maintenance includes: freshly rebuilt & tuned 4-barrel carb, all new brakes, master cylinder, brake booster, valve cover gaskets, plugs distributor and plug wires, new battery, new exhaust system from the Y-pipe back, no rust, very very nice condition inside and out, drives extremely well & rides surprisingly well for a heavy duty suspension. These trucks are rare - especially in this condition, and are very nice to drive. Sure to appreciate in value and this 2-owner example would make a great driver or total restoration candidate! The 1969 Chevrolet C-20 was a 3/4-ton pickup truck produced by General Motors. It was produced at at 11 different plants in the United States, and one in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It came with a variety of trim and option packages. The C-20 is a two-wheel drive truck. The four-wheel drive version was the K-20. The "C" stands for conventional. The venerable small-block 350 cubic inch engine was introduced to the C-series in 1969 and was the longest continuously produced engine that GM ever made. An inline six, a 327ci small-block and a 396ci large-block were also available. C-20 trucks could be ordered with four different transmissions: a 3-speed manual, a 4-speed manual, a Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic or a Powerglide 2-speed automatic. The 3-speed manual was standard. The C-20 came standard with a coil suspension, though older leaf-spring suspensions were available. The C-20 also had an 8-bolt wheel pattern. There were three trim packages: Standard, Custom Comfort and CST. A foot-activated parking brake and a two-spoke plastic steering wheel were new for 1969. A new grill was standard on the 1969 C-20, and the hood was slightly modified from the previous year. Picks: Vehicle is very nice inside and out - windshield has wiper marks & a repaired rock chip, interior needs carpeting, a radio and the seat repaired on the lower driver side, if it's going to be driven a lot it may need 2 new tires, a great looking and driving old truck that isn't concours condition but with a lot of eye appeal!, nothing else to reasonably fault.
