I just bought this truck, so not much information, my son is looking for a different vehicle. this is a 1986 Ford Ranger Pick up truck with a diesel engine it has a Perkins diesel engine, and a 4 speed transmission, that run great and shifts fine the truck is a single cab the mechanics seem fine, the brakes are great and it steers straight, I drove it and it drives fine, you are more than welcome to come over and check it out. there is some body work required, rust around the top of the wheel wells, bottom corner of cab, and a dent on the front of the driver's fender, the windshield needs to be replaced, the dash and seat have a rip, the box, the undercariage and the frame are in great condition the truck is located in Vancouver, BC, but I can take it to Bellingham, WA, if it meets the price that I want, I am trying to upload pictures, not going through, I will try again, but in the meantime, if you want to send your email address, I can send pictures thank youOn Oct-29-12 at 20:09:07 PDT, seller added the following information: I can also have the truck driven to your location for a cost. There is nothing wrong with the mechanics of the truck, or the drive train, only issues are those what have been mentioned, mainly body. I have pictures of the undercarriage, and there is no rust(surface as with all vehicles) or rot. The frame and the floor are in great condition. thank you
