Vehicle Detail

PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 4 ALL WHEEL DRIVE 6 SPD MANUAL TRANSMISSION This car has a Salvage Bill of Sale from the State of Washington. I purchased this car a couple months ago in Seattle from Safeco Insurance Company with some damage to the transmission. The transmission was cracked. I had the transmission removed and welded professionally and re-installed in the car. Once the transmission was put back in the car, I noticed a substantial engine vibration that peaked around 3500 rpms. The car currently runs and drives, but has this engine vibration. There is no check engine light on, compression is good in all 6 cylinders and it does not smoke. Body: The paint is pretty good overall and looks to be well cared for. There are two small dents around 3 inches in diameter or less on the passenger rear quarter (see photos) that can probably be removed with a good paint-less dent removal company. There is also one small dime sized ding in the same passenger rear quarter. Otherwise the body is dent free. The front bumper has two scratches in it and the paint is cracking at these spots (see photo). This unfortunately was caused during shipping when I had it shipped from Seattle where I bought it. The windshield has a crack in it. The tires are well worn and the rears will need replacement immediately. Interior: The interior is very clean for a car with 105k miles. It looks to be very well cared for. There was definitely no smoking in the car. The drivers seat show a tiny amount of wear, but the rest of the interior is without major flaw. It does have the carbon fiber interior appointments and the carbon fiber trim on the dash is cracking in spots. The radio works and has the code car. The owners manual is there. All switches and parts function as the should. The a/c blows cold. The airbag light is on, but no airbags where deployed, so I do not know what set it off. Terms: A $500 deposit is due via Paypal within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The remaining funds are due within 7 days. I will gladly arrange to hold onto the car until shipment can be arranged. I do not recommend driving the car home as the vibration could cause significant damage to the engine over time and I will not guarantee the car drivable for more than loading it on a trailer. The car come with a Washington State Salvage Bill of Sale and Notarized Statement of Fact (see photo) declaring that Washington State does not have salvage titles. In my experience in Colorado, the paperwork I have is enough to get a rebuilt title once the car is inspected.
