OK, UP FOR SALE IS A LeBARON CONVERTIBLE. ALL ORIGINAL INCLUDING THE TOP. THIS CAR HAS A CLEAN TITLE AND GOOD CAR FAX. THIS IS A NEW CAR DEALER TRADE-IN. I HAVE THE CAR NOW AND TITLE IN HAND. RUNS AND DRIVES REALY WELL. MOTOR STARTS AND AND TRANNY IS GOOD. IT HAS A NEW BATTERY AND 4 NEAR NEW TIRES. AVERAGE TO ABOVE BODY AND INTERIOR CONSIDERING THE AGE. NO RUST, DENTS , TEARS OR DAMAGE. BUT AS TO BE EXPECTED THERE ARE SIGNS OF WEAR AND WEATHERING. THE TOP GOES UP AND DOWN IN SECONDS, BUT DOES SHOW SIGNS OF AGE AND SOME CRACKS ALONG THE EDGE HERE AND THERE. WATER GETS IN FROM SOMEWHERE AND I NOTICED IT AFTER A GOOD RAIN WE HAD COMING FROM THE TOP RAIL ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. FRONT CARPET GOT DAMP, BUT IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE AN ON GOING ISSUE. MY GUESS IS THE TOP JUST DID JUST GET THIS WAY; PREVIOUS OWNER LIKELY GARAGED THE CAR. ALTHOUGH WELL CARED FOR, THERE IS AN OIL LEAK COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE ENGINE; TECH SAYS FRONT MAIN SEAL. I CAN'T TELL. I LOOKED UNDERNEATH IS THERE IS A LEAK, BUT I CAN'T TRACE IT WELL. THE RESULT IS WHEN THE CRANKCASE IS TOPPED OFF WITH OIL, IT WILL SPOT THE DRIVE WAY. LESS SO WHEN THE OIL IS, SAY, A QUART LOW. I DON'T KNOW IF THAT MAKES SENSE; MAYBE SOMEONE OUT THERE IS FAMILIAR WITH THIS OR THESE CARS. MECHANIC SAID PARTS $100-150 AND 4 HOURS LABOR. bid and buy, no reserve. drive it home. i am just off exit #28 route #8 in. Naugatuck, CT 06670 On Oct-22-12 at 12:56:19 PDT, seller added the following information: the left rear quarter window does not go up or down by the master switch, or otherwise. it has to be raised manually and i don,t know the cause or fix. thank you. On Oct-23-12 at 12:05:38 PDT, seller added the following information: the wheel covers are hubcaps and not alloy wheels. the car was damp and the driver's side carpet was moist, likely water leaked in from the top or the inop rear side window was left down (someone had pulled off the tape holding in in place). there is no mold or stains or apparent damage, car just needs to dry out and will get an interior detail by the shop as soon as time permits. the trunk seems clean and dry. tonneau cover is original and seems intact. repair manual included at no extra charge. inerior and seat surfaces are great. radio plays, hard time seing the display in the sunlight. a/c hard to tell, i say blows warm and the compressor may not be kicking on because of needing a recharge. my understanding is that car passed from the original owner to a second party. at that time battery was replaced, got rid of the dry rot tires with new rubber, vehicle was serviced and OK'd for dailey use. then, my paperwork and the carfax show that it was traded in to a Toyota dealer as a new-car-trade. nad no its here on eBay. sorry i do not have more records, but it is pretty clear. thnx for the emails, but i do not have service records. oil is clean, tires like new, brakes are strong and straight, runs well, horn, lights, wipers, etc all A-OK. good car fax and clean title. you be the judge, bid when you like.
