Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a used, 1966 Ford Bronco. It is equipped with a 289 cid V-8 and a three speed, manual transmission. The car has four wheel drive and a multiple speed transfer case. The front hubs are the manual locking type. The mileage is 31,400 and appears to be actual. The Bronco has had two owners from new. It was originally purchased in Texas and was brought to Michigan in 1999 where it has been kept as a seasonal vehicle primarily driven to car shows or short cruises. It appears to be completely stock as it left the showroom. Still has the AM only radio (and it works!), jack, and Owner’s Manual that came with the car. There’s even a “Made in Texas” rifle rack attached to the hardtop! The exterior has had a repaint at some time and is still in excellent condition. The interior and engine bay are very nice. There does not appear to be any body rust other than surface rash on the underside. In spots underneath where the undercoating has flaked off, red paint is now visible. The overall condition is “Excellent Driver/ Show Truck”. The engine starts and drives like a low mileage vehicle. The brakes and steering are also in excellent working condition. This Bronco was a featured vehicle at Ford’s 100th anniversary in Dearborn, Michigan and appears on the poster that was issued to commemorate the event. A copy of the poster and the numerous show trophies are included with the sale. Most of these early Broncos have returned to the elements or have been hacked up and modified. Bone stock ones are hard to find especially with low mileage. This is a great little off the road truck and would make a terrific driver/show vehicle as is, or would be a great candidate to “frame-off” and make a pristine, 100 pt. Concours winner. The owner has a clear Michigan title. The successful bidder must make a $250.00 deposit via PayPal within 48 hours of the close of the auction. Full payment for the vehicle must be made within seven days of the close of the auction. The vehicle will not be released until full payment is received via bank transfer or other means acceptable to the owner. Sale does not include shipping. Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and costs. We have tried to provide an honest description of this car. We would encourage anyone interested in bidding to view the car in person.
