Before we started the engine, we removed and inspected the air filters to make sure they weren’t deteriorated, OR full of walnuts & acorns …….they were brand new condition so we just buttoned it back up. Next we dropped the carbs & cleaned the float bowls which were clean as the gas had been drained before storage. Next we inspected the rear brakes which backed up what we see on the odometer 935 miles from new. Front master cylinder reservoir and hoses, was removed, cleaned & serviced. New YUASA battery was installed, old one was removed before storage so everything under the seat is like new CHECK OUT THE PHOTO AND LOOK AT THE FUSE BOX, STILL HAS EXTRA FUSES Fresh 10-40 W oil was added after we drained the old stuff out, which was clean just 30 years old. Clean & detailed everything on the bike We put some fesh gas in the tank and worked it around to make sure there wasn’t any loose crap on the inside and then dumped it out, nice solid tank. LASTLY WE PULLED OUT THE ORIGINAL B8ES SPARK PLUGS AND REPLACED THEM WITH TWO NEW ONES, OLD ONES WERE NICE COCO BROWN She fired right up and hummed at idle until we popped her in gear & took her thru the neighborhood, runs like new, shifts effortlessly, electric & KICK START work perfectly. You will not find a better preserved 38 year old example of a 1974 Honda 360 G with super low mileage, the winning bidder will have to follow break in procedures for the next 65 miles, how many times in your life will you be able to purchase a vintage motorcycle approaching 40 years old that’s not fully broken in ?
