Vehicle Detail
No reserve!!! I am confident in what I have and have said below everything I know about the truck. 2002 Dodge Ram 1500. 4WD 5-speed. It has 203,xxx miles on it and some normal wear for a 2002. It is and has been a good truck. It has been cared for, I don't think it would have over 200k if it was beat on and not maintained. I did a lot of work on it over the summer because I had no intention on selling the truck but my work/plow truck needs repairs so I have to let this truck go to have some cash to fix the work/plow truck. Full synthetic Royal Purple oil changes. I'm currently getting 16.4 mpg because of a lot of short trips but I normally average just under 17 mpg. New parts:Radiator (2 years old)Heater core (last winter)Front axles and wheel hubs and bearings (this summer)Shocks, all 4 (this summer)Rotors and Pads, all 4 wheels (this summer)Fuel pump (month ago) Reason for repairs:The radiator was cracking where the plastic pieces wereHeater core was shotWheel bearings were shot, cv boots were rippedHad to pull off rotors to replace hubs so I replaced rotors and pads while it was all apartFuel pump went probably because I run the tank too low, I need to start filling up before the light comes on. Human error, not the truck's fault. The bad:The clutch. I drive it daily but the clutch is getting tired. Again, I drive it daily so it is fully drivable.NO AC. I banged up the lines when I replaced the heater core. I should have replaced the AC unit while I was in the dash but it was winter and I wasn't thinking about the AC, and I don't even use the AC in the summer anyway.Cracked windshieldDriver's seat has the usual tearSome rust above rear wheels. No e-brake. I never reinstalled the brake shoes after I replaced the rotors and brake pads. I just chock the wheels if I'm on a hill. No check engine or other warning lights. A lot of miles were highway miles. Just passed inspection. Truck is great in the snow. I had to drive about 100 miles in the big storm NJ got 2 years ago and I had no issues. Tires are in fair condition, not brand new, nowhere near bald. Truck has a somewhat loud exhaust and a rusted out spot from the hanger in the pipe after the muffler. It is a loud by design exhaust, not a loud old exhaust. K&N air intake. Bedliner and tie down hooks, 2 hide-a-hook, 2 regular circular ones. I have said all I can think of right now. Email any questions. If you are local feel free to contact me to setup a time to come see the truck. I am going to miss this truck but it is time to let it go. My plow only fits the older Ram body style and it is easier to fix my plow truck than buy a plow for this one. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or shipment of this vehicle.
