Vehicle Detail

I am looking to sell my 1989 Chevrolet Corvette C4 with only 25650 original miles. The car has a SALVAGE TITLE. I have purchased the car a few months back from the insurance auction, it was side swiped on the right side and it had both rims damaged, the mirror housing and had a small crack on the front wheels arch. Everything was professionally repaired, I have replaced the wheels with a set of 1990 Corvette C4 wheels, I've got new tires COOPER ZEON RS3-A 275/40/17, I've replaced the mirror and the body shop fixed the crack and painted it. As of right now the car is in excellent condition, everything works as it should, the headlights, the automatic climate control, the instrument cluster, the adjustable suspension, etc...no issues whatsoever. I have included a picture to show the damage. I had the alignment done at Belle Tire and everything checked out. The car has the 5.7L V8 L98 engine coupled with a 6 speed manual transmission built by ZF featuring a Computed Aided Gear Selection (GAGS) feature that would lock out 2nd and 3rd gears upon light throttle. Has the Selective Ride Control (SRC) suspension installed that offers three modes of driving: Tour, Sport and Performance. "Three suspension modes were available to select from during vehicle operation: touring, sport, or competition, and each was designed to suit the mood of the driving condition. Within each setting, the damping rate increased with the car’s speed in six, twenty-five-mile-per-hour steps, from 25 miles per hour to 150 miles per hour. Conversely, for periods during which damping was reduced, the set points were deliberately set five miles per hour slower to avoid the car constantly shifting between settings while cruising at one of the above speeds. When set to touring, the suspension would partially absorb ruts and pot-holes on back roads whereas when set to performance, the Corvette was effectively transformed into handling like a race car." I have just done the oil change with Mobil 1 Extended Performance fully synthetic oil and a K&N oil filter. The car also has a K&N air filter installed. It has an aftermarket KENWOOD headunit with MP3, USB and AUX input and JL AUDIO speakers all around. On Oct-26-12 at 12:03:53 PDT, seller added the following information: As of today, 10/26/2012 I have reconstructed the title, the car doesn't have SALVAGE title anymore, has REBUILT SALVAGE, passed the state inspection without any problems and now it is registered on my name, it can be registered in any state. I have replaced the wiper blades and the E-brake cables. I also had the A/C-heater control unit and the HVAC programmer (the one on top of the accelerator pedal) rebuilt (both are common problems on this car).
