Up for auction is a numbers matching one owner 1968 mustang fastback that runs and drives. This mustang has a 289 2bbl motor with auto trans, power steering, air conditioning and power disc brakes. It is a rare color with a lot of options. It is gulfstream aqua on the outside and has 2 tone aqua D'ecor interior. It came with all of the options listed above plus white paint stripe, folddown back seat, interior decor group, tinted glass, overhead console, deluxe hood with turn signals and deluxe wire wheel covers. It was one of only 142 with this paint and trim. The car runs and drives and has only 93832 miles on it. The only real rust the car had was the rear quarters at the bottom so i had them replaced at body shop with over 30 years experience so they are done right. The floors, torque boxes and frame rails are in great condition. There is only light surface rust under the car and under the hood. The interior along with the front and back glass is out of the car now as i was getting it ready for paint. As you can see the interior is nice but it will need a headliner. I have most of the original window sticker the plastic owners warranty card and the owners manual along with some of the cars other original paper work. This stuff is a great find as it is lost thru the years with most cars this old.
