Woo hoo! 1997 Mazda Miata, M Edition ~ NA! Pristine condition! I bought it new and have cruised it only 85,000 miles in sunny south Texas! I’ve always serviced the vehicle without fail. Now I’m on crutches, time for the beloved Miata to move on. Lucky you! I have all service records and the original manual. Bid early and often! It took a side trip too close to the garage. All repairs have been done, including replacing the left front door. There are two door dings on the right rear, see photos. To make this vehicle showroom perfect, each seat should be "faced", replacing the top part of the seat. Cost has been quoted as $350 each to face, or $ 500 to each to completely recover. A total of 27,037 1997 Miatas were made. Only 3,002 Miata M Editions were sold in the US. They were produced from December through February and launched at February 1997 Chicago Auto Show Described in sales flier as "limited edition". Very few were automatic. And even fewer are still on the road today. The 1997 M Edition was produced in Marina Green Mica (color code 13C) with tan leather interior, tan boot and top. NA model. The '97 Miatas are the only year, prior to the new body style, that have door panels with a padded area on the upper rear of the panel.
