1987 Mercedes Benz 300SDL in Astral Silver with Blue leather. This car was originally purchased at Autohaus Mercedes-Benz Pampano FL. It has been garage kept and meticulously maintained. The car was serviced primarily at Mercedes dealers in FL, IL, and CT. It has had one owner and has been used as a third car resulting in it having low mileage and not being exposed to harsh winter weather. The car is in excellent condition and is certainly a rare find. The exterior of the car is in very good condition. The paint holds a deep shine and is in terrific shape. There is no rust anywhere on the car. There are a few chips and scratches on the bumpers, as with any car, but those are the car's only cosmetic blemishes. All glass, plastic and trim pieces are in very good shape and have no damage. The chrome is in excellent condition with the exception of a 2" spot on the bumper trim where the finish has faded below the license plate. The wheels are also in very good condition but have some of the finish showing wear. The interior of the car is in excellent condition. The leather is soft and supple; there is no tightening, stretch, or tears in the upholstery. The original color and finish is bright and bold as a result of having been garaged. The seats hold their original shape, spring and form. The dash has several cracks (3 larger) from the Florida heat. The headliner sits perfectly with no sign of sag. The wood is in very good condition, holding a deep bright color and showing very few cracks in the finish. This car has not been smoked in and has no strange odors. The carpets are free from any dirt or stains as they have been covered by mats since new and show no fade. Mechanically, the car is in excellent condition. The engine is fast and strong.The transmission shifts smoothly. The suspension and steering are tight. There are no strange noises or rattles. There are no stains on the garage floor underneath it. The front end makes no noises while going over bumps or turning. All interior functions, including power seats, sunroof, antenna, climate etc. work as they should. A/C and heat work as they should. There are no check engine, ABS, air bag etc. lights on. I have 2 master keys and a valet key. The car has the owners manual and other manuals present. There are two items that are not currently working properly: the rear passenger window will not work from the switch and the radio must be manually turned off, it will not automatically turn off when the key is removed. Radio otherwise operates as it should and all other windows operate correctly. The tires have plenty of tread on them. This 300SDL is a very rare find and in very good condition. These cars have a legendary reputation for their durability and efficiency. Most examples of this model that are left show their age or have 200-300k on them. This car has been very well preserved and is in very impressive condition. I have tried to describe the car as thoroughly and accurately as possible.
