I bought this 1929 Ford model A roadster pick up 3 years ago in all original condition and drove it some in that condition. I have since installed a 21 stud 1937 flathead Ford V8 engine and a 1935 Ford 3 speed toploader transmission along with converting it over to hydraulic brakes and changed the steering box to a later 1937 Ford cross steer unit. All of the work was done with the intention to make it appear as if Ford built it this way. It is now all 12 Volt with an electric cooling fan and new radiator core and custom lower tank. It NEVER heats up. The truck is all Henry Ford original steel and has no rust issues what so ever. The only rust is minor surface rust on the under side of the truck. The engine has aprox 35,000 miles and doesn't smoke or use any oil. The carbs are stromberg model 48s that have been rebuilt. The intake is a Fention and the distributer is a NOS 1948 Ford crab style. I could go on and on about this truck but I am tired of typing.
