Up for auction is a 2011 Volkswagen GTI that we just finished repairing. This Gti had previous damage to the front end. The right door had some skin damage also, so we replaced it with a brand new door shell. Items replaced include radiator support, fenders, grille and bumper. The radiator, fans and cooling systems are original to the car and were undamaged. The drivers airbag was also replaced with a new airbag purchased from the dealer. The replaced parts were professionally painted and blended so there would be an exact paint match. This paint code (black magic) has metallic in it, so its impossible to butt match thats why we blended it. The car looks and runs Excellent and is ready to be driven anywhere. The interior is in excellent condtion also. We already had a California Certified brake, lamp and smog inspection done for Dmv purposes. We included pictures of the exterior and interior of the vehicle but if you need any more detailed pictures, please let us know so we can answer your questions. We also included a picture of the car as we purchased it from the auction. Registration: We are holding a California Salvage certificate in hand so if the vehicle is sold outside of California the customer would receive that and a bill of sale. If the vehicle is sold within California, we are required to turn the title in and issue a bill of sale with an aquisition number for registration in California. If the car is to be registered in California the aquisition number process takes 7 days to process. Also if the vehicle is sold to a California buyer or if you fly in to California to drive the vehicle out of state, we are required to collect sales tax (7.75). When you return to your state and register the vehicle, you would have to submit a request for refund of the taxes paid showing that you were from out of state. If the car is picked up by transport to be delivered out of state, then no sales tax would be due. Again if you have any questions regarding this vehicle, please feel free to contact us.
