UP FOR SALE IS A VERY CLEAN 1996 VW PASSAT TDI (TURBO DIESEL). This vehicle is in a very good condition. It starts promptly in all weather BUT IT NEEDS CLUTCH. THE CLUTCH IS REALLY WEAK All the lights work fine but it has an electrical problem that sometimes makes the tachometer, gas gauge, temp guage and other lights and guages on the cluster to just shut off and comes back on. All the mirrors and lenses are in good condition. No missing body parts and this car gets up to 50MPG. Super Reliable! AC blows ice cold in the summer and of course the heater works fine. Loaded with power door, locks, power steering, power windows, and also a power sunroof. etc. All the power controls works fine and the sunroof doesn't have any leaks though the interior roof might need to be changed. It has Factory fitted AM/FM cassette and they work perfectly though needs code to turn it back on. Dash no cracks. There are no rusts on this well kept vehicle. Exterior paints are in excellent condition for the age of the car but expect some dings and scratches and scrapes. Interior seats are excellent and no tears or rips whatsoever but the roof has some sags. Carpets are great despite not been cleaned but could still use some cleaning. This is a VW diesel that can go up to half a million miles and don't be fooled by the mileage, this car will serve the next fortunate owner for many years and many miles. Plenty of life left. Cheap, reliable and easy to maintain everyday transportation. These cars basically run forever, if properly maintained like this one. All the fluids are topped off.
