2004 HONDA CBR1000RR Summary: Feel free to bid with complete confidence on my *LIKE NEW* 2004 Honda CBR1000RR. Mileage: 600. This motorcycle is so clean, it would befit the "Honda Collection Hall" (Motegi museum), Tokyo, Japan. I purchased this motorcycle brand new from my friends at Don & Roy’s Motorsports, Brookfield, WI, in 2005 (original bill of sale goes with bike). Never ridden ‘on track’ - used only to commute between my family’s homes in rural Appleton, Wisconsin - this machine looks like it could have been stored in a ‘time capsule.’ Spotlessly clean, it has positively no issues whatsoever, within or without. Reason for sale: Limited ROM in my left knee following TKR surgery, August 22 of this year (racing injury in 1986 set the stage); and 2 deaths in my immediate family, close in time proximity, requiring a complete restructuring of responsibilities. An IT Professional today, I was weaned in the dirt as a youth, having ridden everything from Mini Trails to CR500s. I became a WERA endurance and briefly (pro) superbike racer during the 1980s. Motorcycles were the single most important part of my life for over 30 years.
