Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1971 Buick Riviera Boattail Project car. It is black primer in color and will need some more work as the previous owner was not a body guy. The car is all electric and is complete minus the front windshield and rear window. Was dismantled for reconditioning that never was completed. The car ran well before the reconditioning started in 2010. The engine, transmission, and drive-train have all the components to it and its complete. You will get the entire vehicle as pictured with all additional parts at no extra cost. In the photo is doesn't show the trunk, we have it in the garage along with another front seat. The interior of the car has all the trim panels, headlight bezels, seats parts, hardware, chrome front and rear bumpers, and a variety of other items that go on the car. It has a Viper car alarm installed already. The only problems that I have seen for the car is that it doesn't have the front and back glass, the front bumper attaching brackets have both been broken but the frame connection is fine, just need to locate the bumper brackets and re-bolt them back on before installing the bumper, and there is an obvious hole in the driver side passenger rear floorboard area. It looks as if the area was covered with fiberglass to show that the floor was there. Recommend it be ripped out and have that floor section replaced and welding back in. I am selling this for a friend as she doesn't have an eBay account and is not car savoy. If you want a picture of a particular part or place on the car email me and I'll get the photo and send it to you. Send emails to me with questions and I'll answer them as soon as possible. I recommend using a trailer, car dolly, or car hauler to take it home as the front bumper attaching brackets are broken and you cant get a tow bar on it. This could make a really good project for someone who loves old Buick vehicles. Happy Bidding.
