For Sale 1965 Cadillac DeVille Convertable. I've owned this car for 15 years and its time to pass it on to a new owner for their enjoyment. I bought it with 68K miles and it has currently 86K so I drove it very little - mainly in the spring and fall weather. Its a rust free California black plate car. The car has never been in an accident and the body is very straight. I think it has had one repaint of the original color. There are two small dings/crack. One on the passenger front bumper where I bumped a rock in a Lake Tahoe driveway. The other is on the passenger rear wing in front of the tail light chrome assembly. I backed into a pole at a gas station. It cracked the paint - no dent. The 429 engine was rebuilt in 1998 Power steering hose in 1999, All new brakes, shocks in 1999. New front brake drums(2) in 2003 4 tires in 2003 Front and rear seats redone in 2005 in Vinyl to match the original pattern and color. Power seats operate. Full molded interior carpet kit from USA Auto Supply was installed in 2005. Interior floor was painted and covered with Summit Dynamat sound proofing Replaced both exhaust manifolds in 2009, they were cracked from age. The Car has 6 seat belts installed from Ssnake-Oyl Products. Pertronix Ignitor electronic points - I did not replace the ignition coil. Dash is near perfect, there is a 1 inch crack by the comfort control sensor on the driver side dash. Upper left and right control bushing replaced in 2009. Very Good chrome and stainless trim. The convertible top hydraulic system is intact, but was drained and not connected. The pump is bad and replacements can be purchased from USA Auto Supply. The glass rear window un-vulcanized from the zipper and was cut out. The plan was to resew a zippered vinyl window replacement, but I never needed it as I liked the open feel. The windows all roll down, but only from the driver master controller. The three other controllers do not work for some reason that I've never investigated. The clock does not work, but is correct twice a day. The am radio works and so does the power antennae. The air conditioner pump is installed but not powered by the belt, the ac radiator was also removed and not included, Cadillac Literature - Original Owner Protection Plan book, Operation and care of the folding top book, Cadillac Accessories book, 1965 Cadillac owners manual Sale comes with a new truck gasket and new hood pad - bought but never installed.
