Vehicle Detail
Hello folks, for sale here i have my 1972 brat tracker, built around a very solid cb 450 , great compression ( 149/151 psi), every part of this bike was gone over, frame cleaned up and de-tabbed and powdercoated, new buchanan 16" drop center rims ( also powdercoated) and stainless steel spokes, new coker firestone's 5x16, new brakes front and back, front hub from a 69 black bomber, new superbike bars, new NOS switches from japan, copper headlight converted to 55w halogen, bmw bar end turnsignals, NOS 1975 cb 500 twin gas tank spotlessly clean inside, new petcock, carbs cleaned/rebuilt/jetted and tuned by the best vintage tuner in the toronto area , the bike starts and runs perfectly, kick it or push the button, clutch starter rebuilt as well as new brushes in the starter ( but like all cb 450's when the bike is cold the clutch starter will sometimes spin, this is a design fault and the clutch starter is brand new, i have heard that heavier springs may get rid of this, i may try that before the bike goes), new plugs, points ( also comes with pamco pete electronic ignition witch i tried but did not like therefor removed) condesors and coils, new DID chain, ballistic lithium ion battery, excellent custom seat with soft soft german leather and medical gel center)... any way you get the picture,, this bike is sorted, sweet and runs so smooth, gets attention everywhere,, i absolutely can not even get gas without 2-3 people taking photo's of it.... i 'm not sure what else to say about the bike , i would not mind keeping this one but i build one bike a year, i take all winter to build it, ride it most of the summer, sell it in the fall and then start all over again,, ( my next one will be a CX 500 custom tracker).. i can not justify having more than one at a time, so it's time to sell this one... any questions please feel free to email me and i'll answer ASAP, if you email me a phone # i'll call you asap, which ever you prefer, i like to speak rather than type... title is free and clear, and OBVIOUSLY this goes with out saying but i'll say it anyway,,this bike is sold as is , where is , NO warranties expressed or implied,, shipping is for the buyer to take care of.... if you are close to me , i might deliver it for free , AFTER it is payed for of course... call me and we can talk about it.... nick, also this is the last time i will list this bike for this year i have gotten a ton of calls about it but nobody has snapped it up, so i have set the initial bid at my reserve and thus am selling it without a reserve so anybody whom wants it , now is the time, i have picked up my winter project for this winter and would rather not store this one ..... nick Hello folks i have managed to somehow against all odds load some video of the bike onto youtube, unfortunately my video was 25 mins long and i did not know that they had a 10min maximum so i had to cut the video in half and it kind of starts in the middle, anyway you can hear the bike running and see it a little closer and please keep in mind that all old honda's are very hot blooded and don't like to be cold , if there is any interest i can try to load the other half , but for now at least you can see it running... nvp 1972 Brat Tracker Video part 1 on Youtube 1972 Brat Tracker Part 1
