Up for sale is my 1984 MB 280 SL, the European version (which in my mind looks a lot better than the US version). I have owned this vehicle since 1998 and have taken well care of it. The car was imported by a NJ-doctor who drove it in Germany for a few months before shipping it home. At 48,773 miles (in 1988), Mercedes-Benz in Cherry Hill, NJ, installed a brand new factory engine (I do not know why). The odometer now is 115,725 miles and I have complete repair and maintenance records since the vehicle was new in 1984. I have just recently had a new convertible top put on and also done repaired some tears in the driver seat upholstery. This car is a nice driver that has spent most falls and winters in the garage. There are a couple of touch-ups to the paint (passenger side front fender and at the corner of the same side rear clip) but nothing major. I will help with preparations for delivery and/or airport pick-up. Non-refundable deposit of $500.00 within 48 hours of auction close. Bidders with questionable feedbacks will be deleted.
