First U.S. made front wheel drive automobile. This is a true classic collector car. 425 cc engine with 385hp with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, power antenna, and A/C. Very solid condition with a little rust here and there. We have owned the car since 1990 and it has been stored in our garage since 1997. Everything worked when parked except a hole in the brake line and the fuel pump leaked. The car was purchased new in Des Moines Iowa on 11/12/65. My wife has done some investigating and the car has not been repainted and the interior is original and has the "Versatile Morocceen-tailored Strato Seat" which features folding center armrest and converts to twin bucket-like seats. This was either a special order or custom order on a Standard Toronado.
