Certainly one of the lowest mileage 1990 Caprice Classic LS Broughams available for sale with just 13,869 miles. When sold new, this car had a 50,000 mile/5 year warranty. If it wasn't for the years surpassing five years you would still have 36,000 miles to go under the warranty. What is even more incredible is this car is believed to be a true survivor. Paint, engine and interior are believed to be all original. The engine is a matching numbers, original engine that has never been detailed. As you can see from the pictures the engine is in excellent shape with the original GM stickers still affixed to the various parts. Mechanically this car is in excellent shape, everything works properly as the day it left the factory. The Air Conditioning blows cold air, all power windows ,seats, lights,etc work properly.The only missing part from the engine is a small lightbulb attached to the inside of the hood.The interior is original and it is in excellent condition as can be seen by the pictures. There is currently a replacement radio in the car but the original radio will be sold with the car but not installed. I do not know if the original radio works properly. The car was sold with ERS, Extended Range Sound System. The hubcat lock is still in the glove compartment of the car. The trunk is in excellent condition. You can see the original tire pressure sticker still affixed to the inside trunk lid. The optional cargo net is still in the trunk and appears never to have been used. The spare tire cover could not be located. The trunk release works properly from inside the car. The four tires on the car are Touring SE Steel Belted P205/75R15 97 S. The spare is an American Way P205/75R15 97S. The exterior of the car is in excellent shape. There is no chipping or flaking in the spectacular Dark Blue Metallic Paint. With any 20 year old car, there are some very slight blemishes in the paint. The best way to describe these blemishes is if tree sap got on your car. From more than ten feet away you cannot see any of these blemishes. The only slight crease in the body of the car can be seen in the closeup picture of the left side (driver side) front fender. Where the fender comes in contact with the front headlight.There is a very small crease in the body. There are no other scratches,dents or problems with the body of the car. The half landau top is in perfect condition. A Carfax is available for this car and I urge all serious buyers to do their own research. I've listed every vehicle inspection with the recorded mileage at that time. 6/17/90: 8 miles, 6/6/98: 2,792, 6/28/2000: 4,044, 4/5/2002: 4,199, 6/16/2004: 5,247, 9/26/2005: 5,366, 9/30/2005: 5,368, 5/6/2010: 5,762, 12/23/2010: 7,775, 5/16/2011: 9,001, 5/16/2011: 9,153, 6/9/2011: 9,384, 2/9/2012: 11,401: 5/2/2012: 12,644. It appears the car was first registered in June of 1990. The car appears to have been taken off the road for the next eight years. The car was next registered in 1998 with a mere 2,700 miles on the odometer. Since that time the car has been registered fairly regularly with mileage recorded. This car is believed to be a two owner car. I acquired the vehicle recently and I have never registered it. as a collector of low mileage cars, this car appears to be the real deal.The car will be sold with a clear title. On Oct-02-12 at 08:59:12 PDT, seller added the following information: For those who are wondering why this car is re-listed, on Sunday morning Sept 30th the auction ended with the winning bid being $9,000. Very quickly it was determined that the wnning bidder was a scammer. The buyer attempted to have a wire transfer sent to a transfer agent from the seller. They produced a number of fake emails with ebay headers and paypal headers in an attempt to give the illusion that money was sent to paypal. All sellers and buyers should watch out for this scam. Regardless it ruined a fair aution where I believe a number of potential buyers had real interest in this unique automobile with documented low mileage in excellent condition.
