1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am "Smokey and the Bandit" Muscle Car 6.6L-V8 (403 CID)4V-Carb, Automatic Transmission Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Cruise Control Mileage 145,012 The car is stock, no modifications except an aftermarket radio. The car is California licensed, smogged and new tags two months ago. It's a California Car, looks like it has stayed in California, no salt damage. Engine sounds and runs good. Road worthy, Drives well, Steers and brakes straight. Straight sheet metal, some small dings. Transmission was rebuilt three years ago, less than 1,000 miles. Replaced muffler, exhaust pipe going to the muffler, exhaust manifold gaskets, fuel tank, and valve cover gaskets two years ago. Too much California sun has damaged the paint, rubber and plastic parts. The roof and the hood have some surface rust where the paint is cracked and coming off. A couple of the pictures are close ups of the roof and hood to show this. The fuel gauge reads 3/4 when empty and goes all the way to the right when full. A/C is not working, has a leak. Cruise Control is not working. Right power window works but is sluggish. Right front tire is starting to wear a little heavy on the outside. This car can be driven away. It’s a good candidate for a drive and restore project or a full ground up restoration. I am listing this car for a customer of mine. I'm the owner and operator of a small auto repair shop.
