1960 BMW r69. I got the bike about 1 year ago. Got it running and road it about 1000 miles this year. It starts easily runs well and stops fine. I have no history on the bike. The speedometer & odometer do not work.The front fender brace is missing. The manuel retard lever is missing but as seen in a picture the complete retard unit is present under the front chest cover. The #'s match in all 3 spots. As seens in pictures the carbs are correct for a r69. The engine runs well with no unusual noises. The transmissions shifts through all the gears but is a bit noisey. I have never had the engine or transmission out of the frame. That being said, It looks to me like that at sometime in the past the bike had been taken apart. Many of the fasteners on the bike are not original. The sheet metal is all very straight. Wheels look to have been relaced with stainless spokes. Average paint with no pinstripes.
